For people who doubt that Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, what explanation do you think accounts for the aircraft and everyone aboard?
If it wasn’t a plane, what happened to Flight 77?

The best-supported account is that Flight 77 struck the Pentagon. The aircraft’s impact, wreckage, investigation findings, and accounts from people at the scene fit that explanation. There isn’t a well-supported alternative that explains both what happened to the plane and the deaths of the people aboard.

If someone rejects that account, they still need evidence for a specific alternative, not just unanswered questions or suspicions. The people aboard were killed, and claims that the flight was secretly replaced or that they survived would need credible evidence too. I haven’t seen a substantiated explanation that accounts for all of that better than the documented crash.
