I keep seeing people talk casually about having powerful spirits around them, sometimes alongside elaborate ritual claims. Is this usually performance, sincere belief, or something else?
How seriously should I take demon-worship videos online?

A short video can’t tell you much about what’s happening off camera. Some people may be expressing a sincere spiritual belief, some may be playing it up for attention, and others could be using dramatic language for effect. I’d treat the claims as unverified rather than deciding the person is lying or unstable.

Practices and beliefs around spirits vary, so one person’s idea of protection or reverence isn’t a rule for everyone. A video also leaves out a lot: what someone believes they’re doing, what’s symbolic, and what they’re presenting for an audience. I wouldn’t copy a ritual just because someone online makes it look casual or safe.

Calling someone delusional from a clip is a big leap. You can question a supernatural claim without making a mental-health judgment about the person. If the content feels unsettling, it’s fine to scroll past it and keep your own beliefs separate from what a stranger says on camera.

That makes sense. The confident presentation is what made me wonder whether I was missing some context.
