Question

Do Handmade Pentagram Amulets Have More Power Against Spiritual Attacks?

I'm relatively new to esotericism and have been exploring it through videos and reading. Although I haven't practiced any rituals yet, I'm curious about the use of pentagrams for protection. Many sources indicate that pentagrams can be protective, and I'm considering making one myself—possibly carving it from wood. Would this homemade version be more powerful than a purchased one? Also, how do I go about 'charging' it? One reason I'm hesitant to start rituals is that I'm apprehensive about potential negative effects. I believe I might be experiencing some spiritual attacks, not to sound crazy, but I've been led to think this way based on some personal experiences and family history related to magic. I see making a pentagram necklace as a starting point in my journey into the occult and I hope to try other rituals in the future. Oh, and for context, I come from Eastern Europe where I've had some unsettling experiences that made me question if there might be more to all this than just bad luck. Any insights would really help!

It's great that you're diving into esotericism! When it comes to crafting a pentagram yourself, yes, it often feels more personal and carries your energy directly. The intention you put into it can make it more meaningful. The act of making it can kick off your initiation into this world, connecting you more with your practices. As for charging it, it really boils down to your personal beliefs and practices; you can wear it, meditate with it, or hold it while focusing your intention. Just remember, the real power often comes from within, so mastering your mind is key before getting too deep into spells or rituals. Let go of that fear; it's just a tool, and your mind is powerful!

mindfulTraveler: Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's really helpful to hear it from someone who's been in that spot before. How did you handle your fears when you first started?
