While slowing down near a traffic light at night, I thought I saw two human-sized, crawling shapes beside the road. They looked blurry and partly transparent, with scattered digits visible in them. Could lighting or vision explain something like that?
Any idea what could explain these shapes I saw at night?

A quick, unexpected glimpse can be hard to interpret, especially through a windshield or in uneven light. Reflections, glare, shadows, or objects near the road might combine into a shape that seems more detailed as you look at it. The digits could be your brain making sense of indistinct patterns, but there isn’t enough information here to identify what caused it.

I’d start with the ordinary details: how dark it was, whether the windshield was clean, what lights were nearby, and whether you were tired or dealing with glare. If it happens again, make a note of those conditions once you’re safely parked. Don’t slow down or stop in traffic to investigate.

One strange sighting on its own doesn’t tell you much, and it isn’t enough to label the experience as anything paranormal or medical. If you keep seeing things others can’t, or it comes with other changes in your vision or health, consider talking with a healthcare professional.
