I’m trying to separate the details in the account from guesses about what happened. The reported lack of forced entry or stolen property seems puzzling, but does it tell us much on its own?
What can we actually conclude from this case?

Those details make the reported break-in harder to verify, but they don’t prove that it was staged. The account describes no obvious forced entry, no fingerprints, no muddy tracks despite the rain, and nothing missing. That leaves the claimed entry through an upstairs window as an important detail, but without independent evidence about that window, it’s a question rather than a resolution.

I’d be careful about treating the memory loss as proof either way. The account says she was disoriented and temporarily struggled with familiar tasks, then later recalled more. That may be compatible with a trauma-related explanation, but those reported symptoms don’t establish what caused them or confirm every detail of the intrusion story.

The line about not letting them in sounds striking, but it’s still ambiguous without more context. It could relate to a memory returning, or it could mean something else. I don’t think it’s enough by itself to settle whether there were intruders or whether she had been involved.
