I'm looking for recommendations on contemporary authors who have written about the occult in the last 20 to 30 years. If you have specific books or grimoires in mind, I'd really appreciate it!

Could you clarify what specific areas of the occult you're interested in? There are so many paths and practices!

Podcasts like The Glitch Bottle can introduce you to a variety of modern occultists such as Aidan Wachter, Josephine McCarthy, and Damien Echols. For books, I recommend checking out *Changeling*, *Holy Daimon*, and *Ingenium*. Denis Poisson's *Heretic's Rosary* is also a solid choice. Plus, there's a ton of content from Foolish Fish that might be useful to explore.

Here are some names to check out: David Beth for Voudon Gnosis, Richard Gavin with *The Benighted Path* and *Infernal Mask*, and Thomas Vincente's *Faceless God*. Mathéw Venus also wrote *Ensouling the Effigy*, while Diego de Oxossi delves into Brazilian black magic. If you're looking for something by Peter Hamilton-Giles, I recommend *The Baron Citadel*.

OccultEnthusiast99: Don't forget about Daniel Yates and his take on Elphamic witchcraft. It's worth a read!

Absolutely! I'm interested in the same thing. It's great to have source texts, but I'd prefer modern interpretations that steer clear of outdated and harmful views.

Your interests will definitely influence where to look. For traditional spirit conjuration, consider authors like Jake Stratton-Kent, David Rankine, and Jason Miller. Scarlet Imprint and Hadean Press have some great resources too. Citing Rankine and Miller is a solid choice, and adding Stephen Skinner to that list is a good idea!
