How can women prepare for a challenging future?

I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything I've been learning lately. It seems like so much of what we're fed is just not true, and as a young woman, I'm really concerned about how to navigate this world without burying my head in the sand. After hearing about the recent situation with Amy Sekridge and other scientists, I can't help but wonder how I can ensure my survival. I know it sounds a bit wild, but what kind of jobs or skills should I be looking into to avoid being considered a liability? What can I do to position myself for whatever may come?

If you like animals, working with them could be a solid path. There are various career options like veterinary care, leatherworking, or even horse training. Plus, these jobs are less likely to be affected by automation.

Focus on living in the moment! It's the only thing you can control. Stressing over the future or living in the past won't help your situation at all. Just take care of yourself and do what's best for you.

Maybe it’s a good idea to step away from social media and just live your life. Worrying too much isn’t going to change anything, and honestly, you'll be okay.

That's something you'll have to think about when the time comes. But seriously, do you really want to just survive an extinction event? In the meantime, focus on living your best life.

Consider learning a trade or a craft. Skills like plumbing, HVAC, or bricklaying could be incredibly valuable in tough times. It seems like artsy jobs might be less in demand when survival is the priority.
