Has Anyone Used Panacur for Treating Cancer in Dogs?

I'm looking for insights on using Panacur (fenbendazole) as a treatment for my dog, Sadie, who was recently diagnosed with severe bone cancer at just six years old. We adopted her four years back, so we don't have any information about her history. Unfortunately, we can't afford radiation therapy, and the vet has told us that surgery would be too risky since it would involve amputating her leg and she likely wouldn't survive the procedure. They estimated she has about six months to live, which is devastating for us. I'd love to hear if anyone has had experiences with Panacur and if you can provide advice on the appropriate dosage or other potential remedies for her. Thanks a lot for your help! 😊

I can't even imagine the heartbreak you're going through. Just remember that if she's in a lot of pain, ending that suffering might be the kindest thing you can do for her. It's a tough decision, but sometimes it's a gift to let them go peacefully.

I saw some comments being filtered out, but I think there's a lot of misinformation out there. Best to do your own research and consult with a trusted vet to get the right info.

Panacur does contain fenbendazole, which is sometimes suggested for cancer. You might want to consider pairing it with ivermectin for better effectiveness. Just make sure to consult with a vet about the dosages to ensure safety for Sadie!

I haven't personally used Panacur, but it’s important to know that fenbendazole is the active ingredient. I found an FAQ that might give you some good insight into its use: [Fenbendazole FAQ](https://fenbendazole.substack.com/p/fenbendazole-questions-answered-things-21e). It might help answer some of your questions!

When my dog was diagnosed with cancer, I changed his diet to a balanced raw diet, added cottage cheese and flax oil, and gave him some anti-yeast medication. He ended up living for seven more years! Good luck with Sadie, I really hope she gets the care she needs!
