Do Near Death Experiences Support the Prison Planet Theory?

I'm curious if there are any accounts of near-death experiences (NDEs) where people report encountering alien beings who tell them they must reincarnate on Earth and can't leave. The prison planet theory suggests that souls are trapped here and forced to come back repeatedly. Have NDEs or hypnosis sessions revealed anything that supports this idea?

From what I've gathered, it seems about half of NDE accounts show that people have a choice to return to their life or stay in the afterlife. Some report being told it’s not their time to go back, while others feel they’re gently nudged to return out of concern for loved ones. For example, my dad had an NDE and felt he had a promise to fulfill as a father, which resonated with him. It’s interesting, but it doesn’t quite fit the concept of being trapped if there’s a choice involved.

I had an interesting experience during my NDE at 21. I felt complete love and support and was not pressured to return. I could choose whether to head into the light or go back, but I ultimately decided to return because I missed my family. It made me rethink my perspective on Earth being a kind of prison, as my experience felt more like a lesson waiting to be learned rather than a punishment.

Honestly, I haven't come across any NDEs that support the prison planet idea, and I’ve read a ton of accounts. Most people say returning to Earth is a voluntary choice, often because they feel their lessons aren't complete. I think if someone was in a situation where they felt forced, it might stem from their own beliefs rather than the experience itself. Essentials like love and personal growth are common themes.

When it comes to the idea of a 'prison planet,' I feel like it's often pushed by negative narratives. There's a belief that fear keeps us stuck in our current experiences. In my research spanning decades, I've noticed that fears tend to create our reality, but the consistent takeaway from NDE accounts is that there's nothing to truly fear. The higher realms embody love and guidance, which contradicts the prison concept.

There’s a significant belief that during NDEs, the beings of light might create an illusion to keep you from seeing the whole picture. Some suggest this could feel like a prison-like control. However, experiences are so varied that individual belief systems might be coloring what people perceive. So while some may talk about a soul trap, it doesn’t seem to apply universally.
