I’ve been trying guided meditation and reading hymns to Zeus. A blackout at my house ended after I read hymns, and I sometimes picture Zeus during meditation, but I don’t hear a voice. How would you make sense of that?
Could these signs mean Zeus is reaching out, or am I reading into them?
Answers
The timing and imagery may feel meaningful, but they don’t prove that a deity caused the blackout or is communicating. You can treat them as prompts for reflection without deciding what they mean right away.

I’d keep the practical and spiritual explanations separate. A power outage can have an ordinary cause, so if it happens again, check with the utility or an electrician. For meditation, write down what comes to mind and see whether any pattern develops over time.

You don’t need to hear a voice or visualize clearly for a devotional practice to be worthwhile. If honoring Zeus appeals to you, you can do that respectfully while staying open about whether these particular events were signs. No need to force an answer.
