I’ve been logged out unexpectedly on both my phone and computer, and one sign-in attempt sent me toward a passkey option I wasn’t expecting. Is this more likely an account or app issue, and how much can you really tell about whether online accounts belong to people or automated systems?
Could random logouts mean something is going on?

A logout by itself doesn’t show that someone targeted your account. It can happen after an app update, an expired session, changed security settings, or a temporary sign-in problem. Check your account’s security activity and recovery options, make sure you’re using the official app or site, and try updating the app or signing in through a browser. If the passkey prompt is unexpected, don’t approve anything on another device unless you recognize the request. Use the service’s account recovery or support process if you still can’t get in.

I’d separate the login problem from the question about bots. A login failure is a technical clue about your session, not evidence about who is posting or why. If you’re worried about account access, change the password from a trusted device, review signed-in devices, and turn on a security option you can reliably use.

There isn’t a dependable way to identify a person from a profile alone. Repeated, highly templated posts or odd bursts of activity can be reasons to look more closely, but people can be repetitive too, and automated accounts can look convincing. Treat those signs as uncertain rather than proof, and focus on whether a particular post is useful and verifiable.
