Question

Can I Use My Pets' Poop in a Banishing Spell?

I'm working on a banishing spell to help my grandma deal with my uncle, who has been causing her a lot of distress since my grandfather passed away. I have a dog and a rabbit, and I'm considering using their poop as part of the spell to symbolize my feelings towards my uncle—something along the lines of 'I hope your life is as bad as your actions deserve.' Would this work? Also, what should I do with the jar afterward? Is it okay to throw it into a lake or stream, or would it be better to bury it somewhere in the mountains? I really don't want to keep it in my house.

I get where you're coming from, but I’d be cautious about adding poop to natural bodies of water. If you're thinking about using a large lake or the ocean, it might be less impactful. Another idea is to burn the contents instead—like a 'may your shitty life be the dumpster fire it deserves' vibe.

Littering isn’t cool, even if it's for a spell! The lake doesn't want that, trust me. When you litter, it can really mess with the local ecosystem, and honestly, you don’t want to annoy the spirits of nature either by throwing things in their homes.

You can definitely include whatever feels right for your spell, but throwing a glass jar into water isn't a good idea. Mother Nature prefers we keep our trash—and that includes ritual items—out of her waters and forests. Burying things that aren't biodegradable can harm wildlife too, so think about using materials that are safe for the environment instead.

Why not just bury it? It’s a pretty respectful and eco-friendly way to handle it. Plus, if you want it out of the house ASAP, use a public trash can. Just remember to think about your pets—adding their waste into a banishing spell might inadvertently tie them to those intentions, you know?

No way, that’s a biohazard! You really don’t want to make anyone sick, including yourself. There are plenty of other options you could use that wouldn’t involve the risk. Just steer clear of anything that could be harmful.
