I’m looking for news sources with a slower pace, maybe one or two thoughtful articles a week, and an archive that’s worth browsing. What would you suggest?
Any good news sources that don’t post all day?

I’d look at weekly magazines and long-form newsletters rather than general news feeds. Check whether they publish a regular roundup, let you browse by topic or date, and clearly distinguish reporting from opinion. That makes it easier to read at your own pace.

A simple setup can work better than finding one perfect source. Pick a few writers or publications, subscribe to their weekly emails or add their feeds to a reader, then leave breaking news out of that routine. You get a manageable reading list without constant updates.

For archive browsing, try searching a publication’s site for a subject you care about before subscribing. If older pieces are easy to find and link to, that’s a good sign it’ll suit weekly reading. I’d also compare its coverage with another reliable source on major stories.
