Are the Cuba drone strike reports confirmed, or still just claims?

I’ve seen a report alleging Cuba may be preparing drone attacks against U.S. military targets. How much can be concluded from that, and does it mean an attack is imminent?

From the information described, this is an allegation about possible preparations, not confirmation that an attack has been ordered or is about to happen. The reported drone purchases and placements are claims too, so I’d keep those separate from independently verified facts.

JuniperKite:

So the wording about preparations shouldn’t be read as proof of an imminent strike. That distinction helps.

I’d look for corroboration before drawing a firm conclusion: clear public statements, specific evidence, and reporting that independently verifies the central claims. A warning to officials, if accurately reported, would show concern, but by itself it wouldn’t establish either an active plan or its timing.
